There are no accounts and no information is shared with third parties.
Learned words stay on your iPad
To suggest names and other new words, the keyboard remembers words you type often and how often you use them, never sentences or your typing history. They stay on this iPad, are never transmitted, and can be reset in the keyboard’s settings.
No Full Access required
Every typing feature works with Apple’s restricted keyboard access.
Practice text is temporary
Text entered in the practice area exists only temporarily in memory and is not saved to disk.
Local preferences
Language and suggestion settings stay on this device.
The website
This website uses no analytics or marketing cookies, advertising trackers, behavioral analytics, or contact forms. Your language choice is remembered in a preference cookie for one year and in local browser storage.
Netlify hosts this website and may process IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and secure it. Split Keyboard does not use this information to profile visitors or serve advertising.
Children’s privacy
Split Keyboard collects no personal information, including from children.

If data practices change, this page and the in-app privacy information will be updated before release.
