The keyboard does not collect your data
Split Keyboard does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The keyboard extension has no network access and does not include analytics, tracking, advertising, accounts, or third-party software development kits.
In particular, Split Keyboard does not:
- record or persist the keys you press;
- store the text you type;
- build usage profiles or track you across apps;
- connect typed text to an account or identity;
- send typed text to Split Keyboard or any third party.
Full Access is not required
The keyboard is designed to run with Apple’s “Allow Full Access” setting disabled. Its typing features do not require expanded keyboard permissions.
Practice text
Text entered in the containing app’s practice area exists temporarily in the app’s memory so it can appear on screen. Split Keyboard does not save that text to disk or transmit it over a network. It is discarded when the app releases it from memory.
The website
This website does not set analytics or marketing cookies, use advertising trackers, run behavioral analytics, or contain a contact form. It serves only the files needed to display these pages.
The site is hosted by Netlify. As part of delivering and securing the website, Netlify may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs under its own privacy practices. Split Keyboard does not use that information to profile visitors or serve advertising.
Children’s privacy
Because Split Keyboard collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, this page and the in-app privacy information will be updated before the change is released.
